Summer

Well, I think summer might be on its way! The last 2 days have been nice and sunny. The temperature was a steady 80 degrees!


Ideal!!

In my book anyway! Unfortunately, I have to go to work tomorrow therefore, there go my sunny days, at least until the weekend.

Couple good things to note:

I have made contact with my Pancha Karma friend and a personalize PK is on the way; to start on May 13. I have to say tho, I really was looking forward to cleansing in March, not May and my excitement isn't quite there, none-the-less I shall try to get revved and cleanse my system.

Second good thing is my friend Kim has made a grand discovery! While surfing the net she has located a new Yoga place for us. Thus far we have checked this studio out twice and I like it. They touch on the spiritual aspect and the physical aspect of yoga, I personally could do without the spiritual part but I don't think it is harming me so--Why not? What is that saying?

Take it with a grain of salt.

What exactly does that mean?

Thirteen Things I'd rather do than go to WORK on a beautiful day.1…. Stay home and have breakfast in bed. 2.... Go drink coffee while people watching. 3.... Go kayaking on Lake Tahoe. 4.... Go for a bike ride. 5.... Go for a soak in the hot springs. 6.... Go for a hike. 7.... Go rock climbing. 8.... Weed my back yard. 9.... Stay home and pet my putty cat. 10... Take a short road trip, say to Sacramento to check out the new Ikea. 11... Catch up on some reading. 12... Wash my moped. 13... All of the above.....

Earth Day

What are you doing for Earth Day?

I think I am going to waste some precious gasoline and drive up to the ski resort and snowboard for a couple of hours. My thighs are currently screaming at me because I was weeding the flower garden yesterday so perhaps this will work out some of that lactic acid.

Then, I think I will meander down to the local festivities to check out what I can do in the next year to help mother Earth. If it is to ever stop raining here I am thinking about riding my bike to work! That should help, should help my wallet too since the price of gas is now over 3$ a gallon. I am not complaining, it is much more expensive in Europe and other parts of the world but I would still like it to be under 2$ a gallon. Dreamer.

Road Rage

I had an episode of Road Rage last week. Normally I don't get all up tight about crazy drivers but this one lady triggered something lurking inside of me.

Ok, let me set up the scenario: I am getting off of the freeway onto a street where the speed limit is 50mph and I have my blinker on to move over a lane. There is a car one lane over and slightly behind me and I am slowing down so that this car can pass. Meanwhile, this other car decides NOT to see my blinker and is speeding up behind the other car I am allowing to pass. But I am about to miss the street I need so I just move over, and this woman starts flipping me off and she is trying to be all sly about it by holding her hand low and barely over the steering wheel! So, this is where I normally just smile and wave at people or shrug my shoulders and say "Whoopsi?!", but this woman was older and I was appalled by her lewd behavior, and I wanted to teach her a lesson, so I step on my brakes and I am yelling and doing the same lewd gestures and this lady (perhaps I shouldn't be calling her a lady??) decides that I am crazy and moves over 2 lanes and speeds by flipping me off the entire time. I would have followed her if I had been alone but I had some people in the car and I think I kinda freaked them out as well.
So, what was it about this woman that threw me into such a rage? Hard to say.

Geeze,
My cat went to the vet today for his yearly vaccinations and he is acting like he has some repercussions from his visit. I feel for him! He hissed and spewed and displayed his discomfort for such a visit but what am I to do?


One of my bestest friends of the world has a dog that is very sick. He is a good dog, has some issues, but over all a pretty good dog. I just can relate to how she feels. I think?

I can't say how much I love my stupid cat! If he were to be in some sort of serious health crises (is that how you spell that word?) I am not sure what I would do or what my husband would do?? My husband would probably put him "down", where as I would want to prolong his life, and probably for my benefit only. I don't think I would consider what he (my cat) would want at all! I am selfish and I admit it

It truely is all about ME???? RIGHT????
