Taller? Prettier? Braver?
What is that saying??
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I believe that beauty is just perception, it is how we perceive one another. Also, I believe that society also helps to define beauty, it us up to each individual to think for themselves and try to not let society's view skew their thinking. So, how can one person be prettier than another?
My sister writes in her blog about me being taller, prettier and braver than her. That is her perception, I don't agree. Well, the taller is just a matter of fact, I agree with that, but I have arguments against being taller. One, when you are taller, you have bigger feet! What I wouldn't give to have a size 8 foot instead of a 9.5-10! Two, I have already complained about my endeavors for pants that are long enough! Finding longer lengths in women's pants is very difficult! Three, long airline flights are a drag!
Braver? One of the bravest things in the world, in my opinion, is to have/raise a child, let alone 5 children! My bumper stickers are not brave, they are just controversial, authority defying, and kinda funny. I will take my bumper toting scooter any day over raising a kid, it is easier, less stressful, and oh not so brave!
So, I can play the "She got" game too, my sister got the bigger boobies, smaller feet, smaller hands with great fingernails, all the artistic talent to make her own lithographs, and her very own retirement plan in the form of 5 great kids!
Ha, so there.
