TATTOO
In the past couple of weeks I have somehow acquired two business cards for tattoo artists. One from www.tattosbygarrett.com and one from Tattoos by Mark at Distinct Ink http://www.distinctink.com/ .Working in a public health laboratory, we test the sterility instruments for area tattoo parlors, I know which ones are clean. That is how I acquired one card, the other by asking someone about his artwork in a bar.
Am I in the market for another tattoo? You bet I am! My husband on the other hand would prefer I'm not! But is it not MY body? The answer is YES IT IS. But, I do respect my husband and I will keep my art clean and not terribly visible for public viewing. He thinks I have enough already, what is his problem with me having tattoos that are pretty much for his viewing only? Not sure on that one?
I really want to work on the piece that is on my leg.
I would prefer something that I could add to it personally, but my art skills are extremely limited. I know if I were to just sit down and practice everyday, those skills would eventually get sharpened, believe you me I have tried. I really like the "Tree of Life" and would like to add that somehow but alas, my feeble attemps are ridiculous looking? Anyone out there want to help? I would love any ideas you could supply.

when I was looking for something special for my tattoo, I dug thru art magazines & art books. Then took the pic I found to the tattoo artist & said - do this please, with a grey outline, not black ... it is a lovely flower, very stylized and looks like a watercolor on my skin... you can find an artist you trust not just to do the ink but to do the art as well.... best of luck & have fun
