Pathetic

Gawd, I am pretty pathetic!! I had a really good reply to a blog, one I believe in and I had to go and demoralize it, my reply that is. All because I have no freaking will power!

Chicken in a Biskit crackers ROCK!!!

I sat down to write about how important it is to do your monthly breast exam and veered off towards http://blissfullblogging.com with a box of the aformentioned crackers and found I couldn't stop from stuffing them into my mouth! She (my sister) writes about a very sad expierence and I really mean what I replied but I had to mention these stinking crackers. Why??

Meanwhile, I have successfully polished off this box, and I am off to dinner where I will undoubtly eat too much since I couldn't possibly be hungry. I am blaming Nabisco and their use of MSG!! F-ers.

Right On

Your Personality Profile

You are dependable, popular, and observant.
Deep and thoughtful, you are prone to moodiness.
In fact, your emotions tend to influence everything you do.

You are unique, creative, and expressive.
You don't mind waving your freak flag every once and a while.
And lucky for you, most people find your weird ways charming!

ummmm WHAT?

Today, I was told I am asexual. Please, imagine my surprise~

I was a bit unprepared for the conversation that ensued from this statement. Apparently, this person had read the 50 Factiods about Me blog entry and was referring to item #20. I had mixed emotions. First I was kinda happy that people are reading my blog (because I am most positive that what I have to say is extremely important!!), second, surprised that this person even knew I had a blog, and finally, embarassed that that was the one thing that he remembered from my 50 Factoids about Me.

Well, let me just say----I am not asexual. I have a sex; FEMALE and I do have sex! The amount of sex one has, too much or too little, really is rather subjective.

Mind Blowing

Last week I ordered what I thought was going to be a DVD but actually turned out to be a book. Yes, I was a little dissappointed but I will give this a try none the less. The title of the book is:

Sexy Yoga: 40 Poses for Mind-Blowing Sex and Greater Intimacy

The article that I was reading that informed be about this product indicated that in the later part of the dvd (book) featured a bare-naked couple demonstrating said positions! I was thinking; "Wow, a workout video with a little porn at the end!" Like I said, a little dissappointed, but really not that much.

So, yup, I will give these poses a whirl and let you know how my spiced up my sex life will be. And yes, there is a bare naked couple bu there are no "crotch shots" which makes this book rather tasteful and all the more reason to twist my way to a greater intimacy.

Just Thinking

Have you ever wondered why it is so important to wash your hands after using the toilet? Personally, I don't usually physically touch myself with direct skin to skin contact. It is all toilet paper and I use enough that it doesn't soak through to get me!

But really, what is the difference from me touching my bare arm or face and then touching the door handle or you for that matter? What about men? They, theoretically, are making skin to skin contact, right?

I brought this concept up with a coworker once, she didn't agree with me. She thinks I am crazy, especially since I don't use those silly paper seat covers. I do, however, wash my hands but I am really not sure if it is because that is what is socially required or because I believe that it does stop the spread of disease?

GutBomb

Tonight I had the worst thing anyone could have for supper. My husband was off to the philharmonic and I decided to make a "heart-attack-waiting-to-happen" type of meal.

Are you ready? Picture this: Oven baked tater tots topped with shredded cheddar cheese, hot sauce, and a squirt of ranch dressing! Oh, toss in some refried beans too! Yummy! De-Lish!

Yeah, I thought I should have just reheated left over vegi lasagne, but I have been eating pretty good lately, mostly fresh vegetables and lots of fiber. I have been reading the labels lately. Well, I think it is affecting me in a stinky, flatulent type of way. I have apologized to my husband in advance of what may happen while I am sleeping.

So, is eating healthier really all its cracked up to be?

TATTOO

In the past couple of weeks I have somehow acquired two business cards for tattoo artists. One from www.tattosbygarrett.com and one from Tattoos by Mark at Distinct Ink http://www.distinctink.com/ .Working in a public health laboratory, we test the sterility instruments for area tattoo parlors, I know which ones are clean. That is how I acquired one card, the other by asking someone about his artwork in a bar.

Am I in the market for another tattoo? You bet I am! My husband on the other hand would prefer I'm not! But is it not MY body? The answer is YES IT IS. But, I do respect my husband and I will keep my art clean and not terribly visible for public viewing. He thinks I have enough already, what is his problem with me having tattoos that are pretty much for his viewing only? Not sure on that one?

I really want to work on the piece that is on my leg.

I would prefer something that I could add to it personally, but my art skills are extremely limited. I know if I were to just sit down and practice everyday, those skills would eventually get sharpened, believe you me I have tried. I really like the "Tree of Life" and would like to add that somehow but alas, my feeble attemps are ridiculous looking? Anyone out there want to help? I would love any ideas you could supply.

Milk?

Has anyone ever told you that humans shouldn't drink cow's milk? Somewhere along my 35 years of life I had heard the claim that milk is bad. I have and when I regurgitate this claim people look at me like I have lost my mind or like I am speaking a strange language. Being a non-milk drinker it wasn't difficult for me to not drink milk anymore, although I do use 1/2 & 1/2 in my coffee in the mornings and I do eat cheese.
So, I decided to do a little research on the topic to try and back up my claims that milk is not good for you. When I say a little, I mean a little. I don't have the patience to do actual research and I am gonna really leave that up to you to do if you are really interested. What I did was put into my favorite search engine (Google) the words
COW'S MILK
and up came a lot of hits. One site in particular interested me and that is
www.notmilk.com. Check out the rather lengthly article by Robert M. Kradjian, MD.
Of course, the milk industry is going to tell us that it is good for us and promotes weight loss, yadda yadda yadda. So, what is one to believe? I guess the choice is ours to make.

Warning:

Almost Friday, just a few more hours and that day will be upon us. I am looking forward to a weekend at home. Today was "purple-shirt" day at work. Everyone was suppose to wear a purple shirt. Most people did, some didn't. I like those weird little quirky fun things to do at work.
I titled this blog as Warning because I really don't have much to say. I received an email from my niece the other day and she wrote: "When is your birthday at?" And I replied, "What are they teaching you in English class?" and proceeded to tell her about ending a sentence with a preposition, one lesson my mother was good at teaching. So, my niece replied back with "What do you mean, What are they teaching me in English? I am one of the best writers in my class" I am not sure if she understood my lesson or not?
I feel old. I need to be in bed around 9pm every night. Sleepy, sleepy, sleepy.....................
